Redneck Ramblings

Well here we are again on another dreary day here in the Northeast. We have had a few nice days as of late which has allowed me to get the bike out of the garage and get a little wind therapy and to test the gopro helmet mount. Took a short ride along the west shore of Lake Bomoseen yesterday and fired up the gopro for part of it. I'm impressed with the camera so far. I have to work on adjusting it on the helmet properly so i get a good view but otherwise everything else worked flawlessly. Today i tried doing some editing of the ride video in youtube editor to add some music and realized that's a learning curve for this good ol country boy. I finally got some music on there but i'm not sure I can remember how I did it. Once the video was done I then transferred it over to the redneckposse.com website under the Hey ya'll watch this section. Hopefully someone finds it entertaining. I am not computer saavy at all so it will show in some of the work but hey I'm giving it a go. Last Friday my wife and I went to Burlington, VT to take ham radio exams. She was attempting to get her Technicians license and I was looking to upgrade my license to the General Class. We both succeeded in our attempt. I've been enjoying listening to other hams on the radio and trying to learn the etiquette and social makeup. Seems like a pretty cool hobby and I'm looking forward to learning even more.
